This week we went for a 3D/4D ultrasound at Lake Norman Imaging. Thanks to my great friend Amber who told me about this place. We went and ate lunch with Amber, Josh and Hayden before the appointment. Savannah was so stubborn. For an hour she rolled around, but not to where we could see her face well. She kept putting her hands in front of her face and the tech. couldn*t get a whole lot of pictures, so we get to go back in two weeks for another try. We did find out that she has a lot of hair and she is turned down. I think this is a good thing. I was supposed to go to the doctor this coming Friday, but it was moved to the next week, but everything*s been great aside from the heartburn, so I*m not concerned. I*m hoping Robert will make up his mind on furniture tomorrow, so we can order it. We picked out some paint samples tonight and we are going to try them out tomorrow so we can paint her room too. It*s all coming together!

28 Weeks
Logan Palmer - Isn*t he adorable!
Chesnee and I at putt-putt.This week we went to the beach with my best friend, Chesnee, her husband, Adam and her one year old son, Logan. We had the best time! Robert had a lot of practice acting like a daddy. Logan latched on to him. Robert loved every minute of it. Don*t worry, I wore sunscreen. We can*t wait to take Savannah to the beach next year! Next week Robert and I go to our 3D/4D apointment. I can*t wait to see this little girl again!
26 Weeks
Robert and I with Landon Ballard.
The picture looks a little weird, but the brown thing is a blanket, the white with dots is her crib sheet. The big pink thing is her quilt for the crib and the crib skirt and the box looking thing is her bumper.I went to the doctor this week and had my glucose test. My doctor*s apointment went really well. I have gained 18 pounds. I*m ok with that. I then had to have blood work, which didn*t bother me for once, drank my nasty fruit punch drink. It wasn*t that bad. After an hour wait, they pricked my finger. That HURT! Everything came back fine, I guess. I haven*t heard from the doctor, so I assume everything is good. I go back to the doctor in a month and then I start going every two weeks. I can*t believe it. The time is flying! Whitney had Landon Jeffrey Ballard on Tuesday around 6:30pm. He is adorable and I was so glad to get to see him before I went to the beach. Whitney also looked great! Robert learned a lot more about the whole birthing process. I thought he might throw up. I hope he does ok for me! I went to the beach with my parents this week. I enjoyed spending time with just them. It*s been a long time since we have gone on vacation just us. Savannah*s baby bedding came in this week too! It is so cute! I can*t wait to paint and get her furniture and start putting her room together. Mom and I planned my first baby shower for August 15 from 3-5pm at Debbie*s house. I*m really looking forward to it and seeing all of my family!
Happy 4th of July!
This week I am 25 weeks. We went to Raleigh for Mike*s annual kickball game and 4th of July party. It was so much fun seeing all of Robert*s friends. While we were there Robert really felt Savannah kick and she had the hiccups. It was really funny. I can*t wait til next year when Savannah can go and enjoy watching her dad play kickball. We then went to the lake to visit Robert*s dad and watch fireworks on the lake. It was a lot of fun! Savannah has a lot to look forward to next year. I go to the doctor on Monday for my glucose test. I hope everything goes well!
