24 Weeks

Savannah took her first beach trip, in my belly. :) We went to the beach this week with another couple and had a great time. She is due a day after me, kind of cool! We walked on the beach, walked on the strip, cruised the strip and swam in the ocean. Both Robert*s have made the decision that their little girls will be no where near the beach once they hit their teen years. They were funny. My belly finally has some sun and i*m still feeling great. Savannah is moving so much and I love it! It*s a constant reminder she is here. My next doctor*s apt. is Monday, July 5. I have my glucose test. I*m not looking forward to that at all. This weekend all of Robert*s friends will get to see the belly at the 9th annual kickball game in Raleigh for the 4th of July. I*m really looking forward to seeing all of his friends, we don*t get to do that often. Robert also decided on Savannah*s bedding, FINALLY! He*s been driving me crazy. It should be ordered today or tomorrow. I can*t wait to get her room started!

School*s Out for Summer!

Well, school is out and i*m already busy. I finished moving out of my half a trailer as a reading specialist and moved into my new second grade classroom. I*m really looking forward to next year, even if I have to write maternity lesson plans. Yesterday I spent the day with one of my best friends. She helped me add to my baby registry, again. I bought Savannah a dress and then we went to Children*s Place and Savannah got some more clothes. We went to IKEA and Savannah got more stuff. Can you tell my world has changed? It*s all about Savannah! Chesnee also passed down Logan*s diaper cake she was given to me. It*s so special and I love her for thinking about me! I start volunteering at GATE, pregancy resource center, today, so I will be very busy this summer! I*m ready for al of our beach trips planned and can*t wait to see how much I grow over the summer!

23 weeks

This week I am 23 weeks. Robert felt Savannah kick this past week, which was really exciting. I*m still feeling really good. I started moving back into my classroom for next year on Friday. I hope to finish tomorrow and then begin decorating on Tuesday, my last day of work until August. I can*t wait. We also decided on our baby bedding which is beautiful. It*s going to be pink and brown butterflies. I can*t wait to start painting. We spent the day on the lake today and I finally got some sun on my white belly. We are going back Friday for Father*s Day and I can*t wait.
