13 Weeks

Robert at his dad's house celebrating his 30th birthday. The sling my wonderful roomate from college sold me. Thanks Ashley!
Robert always says "That's how I roll!" I couldn't resist buying this for baby!
Monday morning I was ready to go to the doctor and mom was coming with me so she could hear the heartbeat. They called me about an hour before my apointment and told me I had to reschedule. It drove me crazy because all I needed and wanted to do was hear the heartbeat. So, I rescheduled to Tuesday. Mom and I went Tuesday to the doctor. I have only gained 1 pound and am measuring 13 centimeters on my belly. All of my bloodwork came back good. I heard the heartbeat, it was around 130-150 beats per minute. She couldn't get a good reading because baby kept moving around. Mom was so excited, she teared up. Dad was so jealous, so I told him he could come to the apointment when we found out what we were having. My next apointment is May 5th and I have more bloodwork and we schedule our ultrasound to find out what we are having. I can't wait! Afterward, Amber and I went to Gafney to do some shopping. I bought baby some clothes. I also bought a Jeep sling from my college roomate for Robert to wear. He actually likes it. I need to have him try it out, that would be funny. Robert's birthday is Saturday and he will be the big 3-0. I can't wait to celebrate with him. It's also Spring Break and I am having so much fun relaxing at the house.

12 Weeks

Well, week 12 was a little stressful. On Tuesday, I had a slight scare, but everything is ok! I called the doctor and her nurse said everything is fine. I still needed to hear the heartbeat. On Easter weekend, Diane came to the house and we celebrated with her our baby and Jesus rising from the grave. It was a wonderful weekend! I also was so excited about Spring Break coming up. Finally, I didn't have to go to work and I could rest, relax and shop. Robert always gets nervous when I don't work.

11 Weeks

This weekend we went camping with six adults and six kids. Wow, what an experience! We learned a lot about parenting and watching how kids behave. It was a wonderful time and we enjoyed it so much! I also picked up my tickets and cap and gown for graduation. I can't wait until May 15 when I finally walk across the stage with my Masters in Reading Education. I will go from having not a lot of time to having more time for Robert and our home. By then we will know what we are having, so I guess the focus will become more on our growing family though.
